From there, you have the option to hire a taxi to reach your destination.

Meghalaya's Weather:

Meghalaya's climate is as diverse as its landscapes, featuring three distinct seasons - summer, monsoon, and winter.

Summer (March to June):

In the summer months, Meghalaya enjoys pleasant weather, with temperatures ranging from 15°C to 25°C. This season is perfect for outdoor activities like trekking and exploring charming villages. Clear skies and blooming flora enhance the region's appeal, making it an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts.

Monsoon (June to September):

Meghalaya is famous for being one of the wettest places on earth, thanks to the monsoon season. Heavy rainfall results in lush greenery, and the waterfalls are at their most magnificent. While it may not be the best time for outdoor adventures, it's a paradise for photographers and those seeking the untouched beauty of nature.

Winter (October to February):

Winter in Meghalaya brings chilly temperatures, which can drop as low as 2°C to 15°C. The crisp air and clear skies make this season ideal for sightseeing, trekking, and exploring the living root bridges. Don't forget to pack warm clothing to stay cozy during your winter adventure in Meghalaya. With pink and white cherry blossom trees hanging from the alleys and lanes of this charming hill station, the stage is set for Meghalaya to host you during November.
